Subtle details can alter the appearance of a painting and transform otherwise empty spaces. Using the provided templates, learn how to create soft detailing which works to transform and model your painting. Tackle the ornate staircase and foreground seen at the front of the painting. Learn about neem-rang and expect to practice rendering.
Templates will be provided once the class has been paid for. This class is intended to follow on from the Transfer & Flat Lay class, However, it works as a stand alone session for those who are curious, or just want to practice.

You can also use a Cowrie shell as a burnisher. With Cowrie shells and marble/agate eggs, you have to make sure they're smooth. It's difficult to recommend without seeing or feeling them. I have bought Cowrie shells online, and have linked one here, For US, please click here

Is there any preparation?
All participants will receive an email prior to the workshop if preparation is required.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting slightly messy. Avoid wearing: Baggy clothing (especially sleeves) and loose jewellery.
