Your contribution will allow you to stream a Zoom recording of this class. Suggested contributions of £10, £20 and £30 allow me to continue these classes.
Following traditional techniques, you will learn how to transfer a Persian Miniature template* onto your freshly prepared watercolour paper.
After inking your transfer, you will learn how to apply the first layer of paint using a technique known as 'flat lay' or puddling. By the end of this class, you can expect to have an understanding of how all miniatures are transferred and started, leaving you in an excellent position to begin working on detailing and rendering.
This class is part of the Level two series, however it works well as a stand alone session for those wanting a reminder, or to top-up their skills.
