This class is for those who have completed the Introduction to Persian Miniature Painting series and would like some assistance in finishing their work.
If you have completed all previous sessions and would like some help and guidance on assembling and completing your Introductory painting, then this is the class for you!
During this two hour long session, you will be guided and given tips on how to complete your miniature painting. Using my own miniature as an example, I will detail how each segment is coloured, rendered and outlined. As a participant you will be able to follow along and work on your own version of the painting. By the end of this session you will have enough confidence to complete the painting in your own time.

- Handover brushes series 33 (or any other good quality, Kolinsky sable watercolour brush) in sizes 00, 1, 2 and 6/8.

This class is for those who have completed the Introduction to Persian Miniature Painting series and would like some assistance in finishing their work.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting slightly messy. Avoid wearing: Baggy clothing (especially sleeves) and Loose jewellery.
What about natural pigments?
Due to the long preparation, difficult accessibility and toxicity of some natural pigments, we will be using easily attainable, ready-made alternatives for this workshop. Traditional miniatures are compelled using paints derived from minerals, earths and insects. You will be able to achieve a similar result and finish using the recommended colours in the materials list.
